The University of Minnesota Extension Private Well Education Program is offering a free drinking water testing clinic for Minnesota households who rely on private well water. You cannot see, smell, or taste most drinking water contaminants, so it is important to regularly test your well water. The clinic offers free water test kits, results, and a workshop on private well water, with space for confidential participant questions. 

Pick up

The free test kits must be picked-up at the between 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on June 9 at the University of Minnesota Extension- Brainerd Regional Office or at Emily City Hall between 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on June 10. 

Drop off

Test kits must be returned to University of Minnesota Extension- Brainerd Regional Office or Emily City Hall from 6 a.m.- 1 p.m. on June 16. 

Clinic

After participants receive their test results, there will be a workshop to follow; the specific date will be announced soon.
