In a state with substantial nature based tourism, we are investigating the socioeconomic impact of aquatic invasive species (AIS) on Minnesota tourists and tourism related business owners. We are also using technology to monitor Minnesota's 10,000 plus lakes and grow the commercial fishery industry in the Great Lakes.
