Participants will gain skills in assessing the production and natural resources of the farm operation using various indices, spreadsheets, and ratings. These may include the Soil Conditioning Index, Soil Tillage Intensity Rating, Water Quality Score (CSP), Phosphorus Index, Habitat Suitability Index, Pasture Score, and other relevant ratings. Together, these ratings provide a comprehensive picture of the status of a farm’s resources.
