The Technical Service Provider (TSP) Training Initiative created and funded this site and the MN Conservation Training database. The TSP Training Initiative was administered from January 2007 through June of 2009 by the U of M Water Resources Center and funded by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture with Clean Water Legacy funds.
The primary goal of the Initiative was to establish a certification-based TSP training system to expand Minnesota’s capacity to meet increasing demands for landowner technical assistance in implementing conservation practices to restore and prevent impaired waters. Another goal was to establish a long-term plan for making training available after June 2009 by working with various agencies and interests that currently provide and receive conservation training.
