Nicholas Haig
Nicholas Haig is a member of the
Onsite Sewage Treatment Program (OSTP) Team with the University of Minnesota. He coordinates educational programming and develops curriculum related to septic system design, installation, inspection, and management. He edited the latest iteration of the "
Septic System Owner's Guide" and was an author and project manager for the 2009 and 2011 "Manual for Septic System Professionals in Minnesota." He previously worked for the SE Minnesota Water Resources Board as a Community Sewage Treatment Facilitator with a project called the SE Minnesota Wastewater Initiative. The eleven county regionally-based project aimed at providing education and technical support for individuals and small communities facing wastewater issues.
Haig attended St. Norbert College just south of Green Bay, WI, and studied Environmental Policy and Philosophy. He completed his M.S. in Water Resources Science from the University of Minnesota in May, 2011.
