Assessment of Stormwater Best Management Practices

 

Level 2 - Capacity Testing

An assessment method used to determine the permeability (hydraulic conductivity and total infiltration flow rate in volume per time) or the sediment retention capacity (remaining sediment storage volume) of the stormwater BMP from a number of spatially distributed, relatively rapid, and simple point measurements. Below are some examples of capacity testing for the permeability of a rain garden.
