Assessment of Stormwater Best Management Practices
About the Project
Developing the protocol is part of a larger project that seeks to assist municipalities by developing and explaining the rationale for a stormwater assessment protocol. The project will:
- Examine existing databases to understand current stormwater treatment practices in Minnesota
- Develop a stormwater treatment practice assessment approach for private and public entities
- Develop a draft assessment protocol with tools to assist in determining treatment type and assessment approach
- Test the protocol on selected field sites
- Establish collaboration among those monitoring and analyzing stormwater treatment practices
- Begin outreach and dialogue through workshops and public forums
