Doug Malchow

Doug Malchow is a member of the Onsite Sewage Treatment Program (OSTP) Team with the University of Minnesota Extension. Doug provides education to members of small communities facing wastewater treatment issues. This education provides information about onsite or cluster treatment systems, formation of districts to finance and manage wastewater treatment systems, public relations, and management of systems. Doug also teaches septic system operation and maintenance classes for homeowners. Doug has a B.S. in Resources Sciences, a double M.S. in Water Sciences and Public Policy, and advanced degree work in Public Policy.
