Sara Christopherson
Sara has been with the Onsite Sewage Treatment Program for 7 years. She is extensively involved with the Professional Onsite Training program include providing classroom instruction and day to day program oversight. She is responsible for the development and updating of the program Web site found at http://septic.umn.edu/ Sara provides technical assistance to homeowners, small communities, onsite professionals and local units of government. Sara serves on the board of both the Minnesota Onsite Sewage Treatment Contractors Association and the Minnesota Professional Organization of Wastewater Recyclers. Sara is also involved in related research. She is current working on a 319 research and demonstration project in Carver, Wright, Goodhue and Winona counties dealing with the treatment of dairy parlor and milk house wastewater. She has a M.S. in Water Resource Science and a B.S. in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering. | |||
