Laurie Brown is a member of the Onsite Sewage Treatment Program (OSTP) Team with the University of Minnesota Extension. She assists small communities throughout Northern MN that are working towards finding solutions to their wastewater treatment problems. She also teaches homeowners the proper care and maintenance of their individual systems to ensure effective and long-term operation. Laurie is a Professional Soil Scientist with many years of experience in the wastewater treatment industry. She has a degree in Soil & Water Resource Management from the University of MN and a degree in Rural Resource Management from Sterling College in Vermont.
