Program

Please attend our annual meeting of WRRI directors in Washington, DC to find out what is happening at the national level and to share with your colleagues activities and advances at the state level. Topics will include:

  • Updates from USGS and the Department of Interior
  • Current and pending federal water-related legislation
  • Federal funding outlook and opportunities
  • “View from the Hill” from a member of the Congress
  • Strategic planning and ways to better serve our federal partners
  • Innovative activities from selected Institutes

Hotel

We are using a new hotel, the Liaison Hotel which is just a few blocks from Capitol Hill. Located at 415 New Jersey Avenue NW, it is a boutique hotel with many amenities. Please call 202.638.1616or go to their website for room reservations, and use the Group Code NIWR. You must make reservations by January 27, 2010 to receive the special NIWR rate.

Registration

Please register through the Water Resources Center at the University of Minnesota. You may pay by credit card or check. Cash is not accepted.

Congressional Visits
