Water Resources Science Graduate Program

With over 70 students and nearly 100 instructors in the Twin Cities and Duluth campuses, the Graduate Program in Water Resources Science (WRS) is the largest interdisciplinary graduate program at the University of Minnesota. Spanning two campuses, the program focuses on delivering a holistic education—one that that prepares students for tackling the complex problems facing the aquatic ecosystems and watersheds on which they will work. In addition to administering the WRS program, the Water Resources Center serves as a critical link between students and professionals in the field by offering students research opportunities to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the region’s top biologists, engineers and economists on water-related projects.
